I've been dreaming of doing a Lancia Stratos or something similarly exotic in 1/12, but the availability and the attached price tag are enough to make anyone's eyes water.........

There are sites that I have found that specialise and and similarly extortionately expensive. Not all auctions are timed when there is something in the kitty, so it is a hit and miss affair in acquiring a nice kit.

After having to bypass the Lancia and the Skyline GTR Combat, I stumbled across a humble 1/12 Tamiya Nissan Fairlady 240Z Street Custom with PE extras at a "reasonable" price of £69.90 + £20 postage. :D

Well, I have finally found a buddy for the Ducati NCR in a garage dio. That is a long term project which I plan to share with you. :smiling3:

Cheers, Si!! :D

It's really been painful searching the web, finding some really nice kits, just to be slam dunked by the price tag or by the fact that they are simply no longer available!!

Back to 240Z, I'm contemplating if I should show it as a restoration in progress or maybe just cut to the chase and show her fully restored..........?o_O

After watching a glut of restoration TV programs on the box, I'm weighing towards the restoration in progress or near completion dio. I'm going to have to think about that for a while.

Till later,

G~)
