This is RS Models 1/72 Avia Ba.122, a pre-war civilian aerobatic aircraft although a few were pressed into service at the outbreak of hostilities. It's a short-run kit so needed quite a bit of work.

Simply stunning mike! Beautifully constructed and finished , it looks totally real and that paint job must have been very tricky. Great build , cheers tony

Wow that's tiny! And the finish is incredible! Hats off to you - great job.

Edit: The more I look the more impressive... e.g. the rigging, the wood effect on that tiny prop, etc. Kudos...

Bloody brilliant, I too hadn't realised just how small it was.

Impressive photography to top it off!

Thanks for the kind comments, guys, much appreciated.

Incidentally, have I posted this in the wrong place? It was supposed to go in the 'Completed Airplanes' section but doesn't appear in that list. Perhaps a mod with powers could move it please?

Just - beautiful. I used to make a lot of biplanes myself in 1:72, but since returning to modelling have been sceptical of the results in this scale. This restores my faith in what can be achieved - though it probably requires a level of skill well beyond mine! The prop is a work of art, and I appreciated the lack of weathering given that the original was a display aircraft. How did you pick out the panels and control surfaces - a pin wash perhaps?

That is a creation and a half, a wonderful example of skill. Beautiful workmanship and a stunning creation.

You certainly choose some unusual and difficult subjects!

This one has come out about as good as it gets, a very impressive model.

Cheers
