Hi Lads.

I have not been giving allot of attention to the group build forum. Is the idea that every one builds the "plane of the month" tipe thing , any make any scale?

If so I might just need to go and get a litte fast build 1/72 190 tomorrow and see how it comes out!

Thanx

Hi Theuns , You have bags of time pal , GB started 1st April and the running time is 3 months ,the only rules on this GB build is that its a FW190 any type or scale , dios welcome as are after market stuff like PE but only if you wish , apart from being a FW190 the only other rule is you don`t post pictures of your own build on other peoples GB threads , you can start your own gb thread and add as many photos you like , welcome aboard

Yep, Rich has summed it up in a nutshell Theuns, you are more than welcome to join in with any model of any version of the Fock Wolf 190. You can make it as basic or complex as you like. It isn't a competition, the aim is to have as many people as want to do it share a similar kit. It helps everyone as those who rarely make aircraft models a working alongside those who specialise in them. Bound to have some knowledge rub off.

Hi Theuns,

Richy has covered most of the details. Just one thing to add - you'll need to post pictures of your unstarted kit; preferably in a new thread in the group build.

Come on in. The water's fine!

Thank you guys. I have been looking a few times for a thread called 'FW190 group discussion' or something like that, but now it's clear that I'll have to put my paper bird in its own nest and not amongst a lot of nice shining professionals.

Anyway, I hope to inspire some of you with my cheap and old-fashioned style of modelling.

I'll have to think about a thread-name and then make a series of screendumps to contribute.

O.k. then, see you later.

Gerard

the 1st FW190 step: find it on the net and insert it into an empty drawing

(so this and its sequel I'll 'publish' in a new thread)

Welcome Gerard , I`ve got a funny feeling your gonna put a lot of our 190`s to shame

it would be great if you posted a few photos of your FW190 being made , personally I would not have a clue how to make a paper model

all the best
