After a rough ride with the 1/48 version of this I decided to give the smaller scaled one a go.

So far, so good. Obviously there are less parts and less detail but the fit is much better than it's larger cousin.

Being the profipack there is a fair bit of PE included, like these tiny pedals

After some paint, adding the coloured etch parts, and a bit of weathering, it's just about ready for the fuselage to be closed up:

Superb cockpit andy , thats a lot of detail for 1/72 , painted up brilliantly. Hope this one doesnt give you as much grief as the 1/48 , cheers tony

Thank you gents.

I've spent a bit too much time working on the new model room today instead of in it but the fuselage is closed up and the seams have been sanded & rescribed.

This is coming on very nice, Andy. I built the Eduard 110 in 1/72 a number of years ago, ( 75th BoB anniversary ), it was reckoned to be the best kit available at the time. I remember it went together very well.
John.

I'm back onto this one. Construction is now complete and everything is mounted ready for primer.

Not looking forward to masking the canopy :smiling5:

The carpet monster has claimed its first sacrifice in the new room. The tiny PE antennas that fit under the fuselage

Cheers Andy. I'm actually enjoying this rather than just plodding through like it's big brother :tears-of-joy:

Day off today so will hopefully be cracking on with the paint. I'm running low on these colours but luckily it won't need a lot!
