Heres the Airfix sea hurricane mkiic finished . A neat kit , not overly detailed but very trouble free to build and it looks every inch a Hurricane . The only additions were a bigger propeller from the spares box as the kit one is quite undersize , and a replacement aerial . Thanks for looking -comments ,criticisms ,observations , questions ,groundless insults, postal orders ,cash ,cheque and green shield stamps welcome
Cheers tony9DDBC134-3D97-476C-A37A-482221BBCACF.jpeg9D31D4D0-834C-4C18-808B-AA30F6A16CF2.jpegF2AE899C-9DBB-4811-997B-A5A5E56B983E.jpeg3678D5BD-3612-48B0-B50E-AAEF7121176A.jpeg1CB57E38-FD91-4EC1-908B-5328909436EA.jpegED05E114-70E2-4046-B1A9-2A0AFF47F15A.jpeg01FE71B5-D5ED-47F5-BD94-B0BA5652C798.jpegF0EB41A3-BE2E-41C5-9A54-72CF2CEC2049.jpeg5BCEB6A0-9952-4A59-B2CF-3B5E2A69287A.jpeg395C1C79-FA08-4297-B4BA-5822DC5C4B8B.jpeg

I like it, the paint scheme is interesting and the weathering looks the part, especially the exhaust stain.

Hi Tony
What a great result. I don't think I've ever seen a Hurricane with that paint job.
Jim
Cheers jim , the paint scheme was used on all 6 of HMS Narainas hurricanes , the flying commander thought it would give better camouflage against the white atlantic clouds, and the success of the aircraft seemed to confirm his decision.

Why do you always slip these fantastic wing thingy builds in under my radar Tony??? This thing is beautiful in both finish and the weathering. I guess I have to stop sleeping at the table and pay more attention here. Really one to be proud of Sir!!!

Prost

Have to agree with all the others.
I love the colours on this as well it's always nice when something different pops up.
And a great finish too.
