Hello mates,

I'm here with a new model, a little FW-190 as flown by Josef Priller during D-Day.

This the Academy kit boxed together with a P-47 for the invasion anniversary, built OOB beside seat belts and guns. Not the perfect 190 kit but nice.

Hope you like it, critiques and comments are welcome

Francesco

Thank you mates for you kind comments z

Probably not my best model, though there are few things I like. I've had a lot of issues with matt varnish so I left it more shiny than I liked.

Also pictures appear a bit overexposed to keep the background white. I'm adding two more taken with different light before completion.

Looks great to me, Francesco. I love the subtle paintwork and understated weathering.

Looks great. Does that aerial wire need a bit of slack to close the canopy ?

Hi Colin, as far as I know antenna was sloppy only with "rounded" canopy.

This kind of "straight" canopy had a tensioner inside so the antenna wire was always straight. More expert team members may comment here.
