hi - I finished this last week (fortunately); the chula modelling was completed a couple of weeks ago but pouring the resin intwine layers takes an age.

it is the dragon set which is no longer available (very sad). the reeds and bulrushes are from various manufacturers as well as some thin crepe paper and even a few pine needles off the Christmas tree!

Nice dio Peter. The scene really works as a small vignette.

Peter, I love the conveyed sensation of the crew's effort for a noiseless advance and their sense of nervousness due to the environment.
Very nice, indeed.

I like this Peter and have always wanted to do a similar vignette. The reeds and water are well done. Sadly getting this set will be a challenge.

Cheers,
Richard

Hi Guys

thanks fir the support.

this was a model I has wanted to do when the kit was originally released, but never got around to buying one. It took a long time to find one at a reasonable price. Goes to show that building up a stash can actually save money, admittedly I have not tried to use this argument with Tina!

Cheers Andy and Colin. It was nice to tick one off my models-I-must-make list.

I've got a similar set in 1/72, but there's no way that I could do anything like this! Brilliant work.
