Help! Selling models

Hi everyone - I'm after some help. I recently cleared out my mum house and found a collection of old models that I inherited from my granddad.

The models are a collection, including:

- collection of "Models of Yesteryear" cars (mostly boxed, some loose)

- model trains - including both main engines and carriages

- model railway buildings

- 2 model ships - approx. 2ft long (with electric motors)

- oil powered train (older than cars/trains)

- oil powered boat - approx. 2 ft long (older than cars/trains)

- simple model boat with mast (much older than other items)

The items will be older than 1985, and the oil train, boat and simple boat could be much older.

I want to know the best place to sell them, ideally in one go, but want to make sure they go to a good home and I get a decent price for them.

Hoping you can help.

Thanks

Edd

It's unlikely you'll get much for the Models of Yesteryear but some of the train stuff may be worth something. Type in Model Railways in ebay and check there to see what they have fetched recently.

Can't help you with the boats I'm afraid but you could try typing 'boats and ships' in the toy section on ebay.
