Metal monster so noble and proud

Metal monster your numbers unbound

Metal monster you travel over ground both soft and hard

Metal monster with eagle to protect from on high

Metal monster with enemies both left and right

Metal monster your numbers become less without eagle to suppress

Metal monster once brave now cunning

Metal monster you lie and wait

Metal monster in brush , tree, and old house

Metal monster your surprise is death for those who cannot see

Metal monster wait and wait and wait and wait ...........

During the final months of WWII the Germans took up the tactics of ambush , due to no air cover they were vulnerable on the ground from allied tank buster aircraft like the Hawker Typhoon and the P51 , tanks would hide in ruins and trees and wait for unsuspecting allied tanks and vehicles

This was an after thought after I built the Hetzer, the building was really just a template for another build so I could practice painting a stone wall and was never going to be used but I liked it so much that I tried out the Hetzer in it and it worked

Yes if I had ment this to happen I would have thickened the walls , built the other side of the roof and made it look more authentic but that's for another build I have in mind on the same theme so it won't win any awards but I think I've painted it very well and learned a lot more in painting aspect

So here it is :smiling3: View attachment 118403

Excellent dio Alan, really like all the attention to detail, from the building to the rubble and vegetation, and lastly the Hetzer.

Well done, that looks superb mate;)

That's turned out very nice then hasn't it Alan, cracking job mate!

The only thing I would say if your up for a bit of constructive criticism is; because the roof is just tile on timber I reckon some of that timber would be a bit darker due to weathering, but then again that building might only be a few years old.

Whatever it's quality

Well yes it's slightly wrong but it should be greyer and lighter than the brown I chose and it could do with a bit off green moss but as I said this is really a template for a future scratch build I have in mind :smiling3:

But thanks for your input :smiling3:
