I agree mate thanks for looking in.I think you and I have a similar approach to weathering and colour palettes; looking forward to the end product!
Steve
Thanks Rick, I agree with you not going to weather it any further, just a few bits to add.Looks very nice to me Scottie.....I wouldn't go any farther with it if I were in yourSlippers....er....shoes.

Thank you Rick really nice of you to say.Perfect!
Thank you John, it's all done but as you rightly pointed out the final dust will blend it to the base.Paul
This is a fine job up to your usual standard. I would wait until the base is done just to add a little blending in dirt when its in place.
John
Steve, if your happy that's good enough for me.I would be very pleased with that result Paul. Wonderful work all round my friend
Paul, thank you my friend.A beauty.
Thanks Graeme, it is always hard for me to get it looking worn but not over done. I worked on the assumption that having large flat panels that may not have had the same paint job as armour it would have caught for abrasive sand, but by the same token it probably wouldn't have survived long in theatre.Looking very good Paul, the paint wear looks 'right' for the desert.
Garry, thanks mate glad you like it.I would have to agree with the others Paul, the weathering is on the money.
Well done.
John, thank you my friend I'm blushing here.Really don't think you could improve on this Paul, it has to be one of your best yet.
Rob, thank you mate that made me smile, glad you like it.Wow Paul, I need some of those slippers your build and paint has knocked me socks off!! ❗
