Nice little weekend build this was , this is the last of the Italieri Hurrycanes I have in the stash and not only am I very well pleased with it it was also the best of the three kits.

She went together like a dream without any filling or filing of parts which is strang as the other two claimed to be new tooling and this one did not so you can make your own mind up about that one :D

This one I've built as a sea Hurricane as I had swapped out a few parts to build Baders hurry this left me with a bit of a problem as the decals didn't match so I made them up from what I had left over from my other hurry builds View attachment 84613

I really like that Alan, the Hurricane is my favourite RAF aircraft. You've done a great job on the camo considering you're a hairy stick man!

Not sure about the silver cannons though....

I just thought silver? Then I looked at the pics and yes they have come out looking silver they are darker in natural light but just for you Patrick I've put a black wash over them I must admit they do look better :D View attachment 84623

Haha you're too kind Alan! They just looked odd to me, somehow too modern looking on a bruiser like the Hurri ;)

Buy Microscale Set and Sol Alan, because decals silvering making this nice build look worse. Apart from this it's a really nice job.

Thanks for the info mate , I've only had this happen on Italieri kits for usually a press of kitchen towel over top sorts it out but not on Italieri kits

Thanks again
