Well Karl it's done and doesn't look half bad. It's a shame about the varnish problems but as you say every day is a school day. In a strange way if everything went perfectly the hobby would be rather boring - but maybe in a nice way

Varnish. Yes, I've had some fun in the past. These days I'm using Alclad and it's working just fine for me. But anyway, the Spitfire looks great. nice job.

If I could of lifted Alclad of the shelf I would of, Tamiya was the best option available.
