We mentioned recently the numerous design studies that the Luftwaffe were developing circa 1946,many were no more than piloted bombs like this Lipisch P-10 Propeller design, the whole fuselage was a bomb and the pilot sat in a tiny little cockpit with a propshaft whirling away at the back driving a fine pitch propeller,if anything went wrong on take off then the chances of survival were very slim indeed, the model represents the machine as she would have looked in service, scaled up from a web three view I built her last winter.
Initial test flights show great promise thanks to the incorporation of washout in the wingtips,a specially carved pusher prop with rubber motor drives this exciting little project.
Jap tissue covered and finished in artists acrylic paint thinly applied with a soft brush, built almost entirely from 1/16 & 1/32 sheet balsa.
