Hi Guys,

I received this about three weeks ago, and ordered the Voyager etch set for it as well. Thought I'd put this up as well just for you Scottie:smiling:. I have had a small start on it but a previous GB and a start of a new one put it on temporary hold...

The Kit, the moulding is brilliant, the plastic is a joy to work with and the detail second to none.

This is as far as I have got but will slowly proceed with it as and when free time in between my desert build.

Hi Mike
Looks a great kit to work on and the PE just makes it even better. Certainly not a quick build.

Hi Mike
Looks great....looking forward to seeing this one develop......
Hi Tony, try yon scalemoddelly man’s shop. He might have it, and it would be nice to support a decent guy rather than a faceless corporation....
Cheers

You'll find his service is excellent! Shame he hasn't got a physical shop though. (No connection, just a pleased customer)

I just looked and one is out of stock, the Grant,he has the M31 but the postage would eat my lunch being here in the States.
Sprue Bros is 3hrs and 30minutes up the road from me and postage is still high ($8.00)

Thank anyway
Tony

Hey Mike,
I'm in on this one too. Sitting next to JR (what, no Dallas theme music here) with my sunglasses on waiting for the bling to happen. That Voyager set looks pretty heavy Sir!

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your kind comments. I'll bounce in and out on this one as I want to concentrate on the LRDG/SAS build from the MM Desert GB.

Afternoon Guys,

I couldn't sleep last night well got to bed about half four......:sleeping: so I did some prep and got the glue out....

20180506_113642.jpg
I cut the kit grill off, see below, the etch is to big. not a problem will be sorted.

I made a fatal mistake last night. Should have completed the whole of the upper hull and not just the sides, when fixing the other upper parts this morning sides were out very slightly....a millimeter or less but still made a difference as these Takom kits are spot on.

20180506_114232.jpg
You can see the join lines on the port side here. Will sort that later.

20180506_114240.jpg

I've drilled holes, scraped and cut off mouldings to take the etch and as instructed with in the plans.

Plodding on.

Cheers Mike :sleeping::sleeping::sleeping:
