Ok Jakko my friend have stirred my mojo up on this GB been wanting to build this for a while and coincidentally this Revell Model is from the same year the TV series was running but it was the last season 1978. I had this Model when I was around 9 or 10 years old built it straight out of the box. I used to watch this TV series I think it came on every Wednesday night. So if you don’t mind I would like to join in with this one. 037155F1-A5B0-459E-91EC-A26317321B73.jpeg1DCC89A5-DDA8-4F40-9E47-0464D1C381E9.jpeg8CB1A425-030B-488E-B954-B065DD762361.jpeg

OMG that show looks good! My favourite plane and five of them, wow. Passed us by in the UK, I think. I shall be checking it out, thanks for the heads up, Lee

Nice, I like the F4U Corsair, but with a model like this, of course, I’ll stress that you should finish it like one of the prominent planes in the show :smiling3:

Like the others said, though, I’ve never seen the show — I’ve read about it, mainly in relation to reading about the F4U, but no idea what it was actually like.

Yes it’s aired in September of 1976- 78. It got kinda “Corny” at the end. The title of the series first started as Baa Baa Black Sheep then they changed it to Black Sheep Squadron.

Jakko. Most definitely the ones in the TV show looked nothing like the Real “Pappy” or the Squadron. I plan on painting this one just like Robert Conrad’s who played “Pappy” in the TV Series. His is the one with the Arrow on the right wing and with Block of kills on the fuselage.

A dig through the stash..(which is in need of some serious replen) and I've found this...

it's probably from when i started to get into building Gundams... so unless something else pops up, I'll be throwing some glue and paint at this..but I''l be doing it a bit more beat up than a pristine version..

A great idea for a GB Jakko. I didn't sign up but I hope I can join now - better late than never.

This will be my contribution.
