Considering all the extra work you put in Ian, that's still a pretty quick build! Hopefully you'll be able to take some pics of it fully assembled as it's a lovely model.

With it being an old Airfix kit there were some fit issues but i didn't use as much filler as i thought i would but with the Airfix BBMF to do i may need to get some from John in the shop soon so there will be another Lancaster coming that i will keep intact

Funny you should mention cookers.Ive just moved house and have a new oven sat in the bedroom still in its packaging.There are several lengths of 2"x1/2" wood embeded in the polystyrene packaging!.So ive got what i need to copy your shelving.By the way,the ovens only being stored in the bedroom till i get round to Putting a new kitchen in!.
