First of all thank you everyone for the great comments.

@ Dave a trick Ron told me, First painted the base dark earth with touches of green then used Bathroom sealant for the water using a wetted metal spoon tapped the sealant into the folds and spikes of the water then when dry without undercoating brush painted the dark earth onto the sealant and there you have muddy water hope it helps
