Neither have I, ......what's the betting Simon has one in his wearhouse stash.:smiling2::smiling2:
A quick look on Scalemates showed its an American company and was active in the 1970s.
Be interesting to see how it compares to today's offering's.
John.

Italeri later re-released many Peerless/Max kits, as I recall. Ah, yes, I’m right: the Italeri WC-series kits are the same as the Peerless/Max ones. This particular one was also sold by Airfix, apparently, with the same box art.

The kit’s family tree on its Scalemates page is quite impressive: no fewer than eight companies released some or all of the kits in this series since 1974.

The old ones are always the best. You will have a lot of fun beating this one into submission. Have you had a chance to make a start yet?

Some pics of the build. Poorly fitting parts and lining up. The front is hard to put together so have used the radiator to set it out from, see 2 nd pic. Needs to be solid before moving on.C501ABCD-4D08-4B61-92C2-816FB98F1315.jpeg4FFDD52A-E595-4317-8648-6C2337A16510.jpeg

Got this from kits for cash, pretty rough kit in dark green plastic. But see how it goes...View attachment 319760

Ah Peerless Max...I only got them when they were under the Italeri brand like the Dodge WC-54 Ambulance, Dodge WC-56 Command Car, Dodge Beep, Dodge 6x6, 1 1/2t. Don't know if these were ex Peerless kits...Chevrolet 15CWT, Tank Water Supply Truck and the Bedford Truck. The only one in an Airfix box with Peerless artwork was the 17-pounder and the 155mm Howitzer. I still have all of them but built only four.

Andy, they're not bad kits to build but no locating pins...much guess work. I have a feeling they are scaled at 1/32.

Cheers,
Richard

Hi Andy, the howitzer and 17-pounder were a little big and Airfix labelled them as 1/32 I think...it's been years and brain can be foggy. :smiling6:

Cheers,
Richard

Andy,
This is the sort of old kit I love a blank canvas to tweak. Bit of as bummer about the chassis how are you going to repair this?

Chassis is glued back together, when the body goes on this should reinforce it, hopefully!
