I do t see why not Ian. It can be ordered direct from AK via their website. I got mine, a full set, a ping time back.Looking very nice Barry.
Those paints, are they allowed to be sent by air-mail or are they on the no fly list as well. Being over here is a pain at times since the jobsworths started banning this that and the other from air transport...
I don’t remember Alan. I have had it for a while now. All I can suggest is to Google for model building jigs.Looking great Barry. Can't wait to see this unveiled
On a side note. Where did you get the model work stand from? I've been trying to find them on evilbay but came up blank
Indeed. If only he could stock MRP as well but I suspect they are quite an investment. He does have some AKI goodies, The weathering pencils for instance. I will be using those for the first time shortly.Shame John doesn't stock those.

Hi Jim.Hi Barry
Looking good as always and progressing well. What do you use for the pin wash? Does the finish of the MRP paint allow the pin wash to flow OK?
Jim
Thanks Alan.Barry. If you intend to do hydraulic fluid staining then the hyd oil used in the Tonka is OM-15 which is a red colour. When it dries out it turns a sort of brown-red colour. The airbrake region is always an area this could be found along with carbon deposits from the reverse thrust action.
