Revell Bell H-13H Helicopter

This is model I built last year during winter layoff. I was looking to do something a little different then armor for once. My father had a 1/48 scale fighter (I cant recall exactly what it was) and suggested I build that. I almost agreed to start the fighter but then got the idea that it would be cool to build something in 1/35 scale so I could use it in a diorama with a vehicle. I found the Revell helicopter on ebay for $15.00 or so and smacked it together. The diorama hasn't come about yet but it may someday. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it.The last photo is just a quick shot of where I spend my winters when Im laid off. That's where the real work is done lol

I like this Chris, loved M.A.S.H and the Bell was a major icon of the show, great work.

Very nicely done Chris. I like the subtle weathering on the fuel tanks and engine in particular.

Very nice Chris. It is a pity not more of us build helicopters as they have more character than conventional aircraft.

Like it and it will look very nice on the shelf.

I can see the appeal in getting this, not to mention the fantastic price.

It would look the bees in a diorama.

The canopy looks super clear, beautiful. Was it dipped in future?

The engine also looks primo.

I want one of these kits now I've seen this.

Very nice Chris add floats to that then do a big shark diorama. You know that scene from jaws 2.

Who can forget Radar's hearing and the look on his face as he heard the helicopters coming in before anyone else. That's a nice looking model Chris, I like the weathering you've done. It has a nice used look about it.

was thinking of scratchbuilding a hospital tent/building with a landing pad on one side with the helicopter and then I have a jeep ambulance that could be parked outside as well. just the rough idea I was thinking but it would have to be pretty large and storage space is limited for me.
