Have to start somewhere and thats with a Primer, Sprayed from a rattle can of Tamiya fine grey primer

Sprayed the base colour on and painted in a few highlights/ shadows, outlined the main pieces of the uniform and started blocking in some of the other bits, some tidying up to do, before adding the 1st bits of the MARPAT scheme

Taking a chair, Steve.
The way you are going to paint the marpat is a technique I have to learn.
I obtained some acceptable results in painting WW2 german flecktarn in 1:35 but now I have in my stash a 1:35 figure of a modern Italian soldier in Afghan TOA uniform and I definitely need to learn something more.
