The 221 ground to a halt

" so we are lost!"

" yeah , we're here and '....."

" we should be over there !" .

First time I've painted winter troops , white can be iffy when you dry brush , I don't think the're terrible but I've seen better , base is just a piece of MDF with no nails glue and some civved kitty litter then fine turf softly covered with snow to give a frosty look , it's a bit heavy in places so we'll say it's a dusting of snow , some small tufts of overgrown grass and large pieced of kitty litter to break it up

Not completely happy with it for my first winter attempt but not a falier either , sort of halfway house reallyView attachment 115063

That's a great build. The paint looks fine from here and I would be proud of that

Cheers guys I'm glad you like it thanks for the great comments

BUT ! Either you lot need to go to specsavers or i do lol:D

It's ok but certainly not worth a great build gong , I'm happy so far as its a first in winter for me and I can see where I need to improve

I am enormously grateful for the comments though I just find it strange :D

Beauty Alan, it looks like an early Spring scene after a deep freeze winter. The figures look pretty good from here, they suit the vehicle and surroundings nicely. Also these are very good photos.

Great build and very nice weathering all round, I like your kitty litter look and the realism of the road surface wit the odd rock here and there captures the scene well.

Your figs to me look blooming good and a lot better than I could do.

Good photography and oh ................. Spec savers are in most high streets not that you need them!!!

Regards

Robert
