Here is the finished Sherman II from the build blog. With a model from this era and conflict you could spend forever adding stowage, but at some point you have to call stop! I kept going around and around and thinking i could add and add but decided to stop and present it to you.

The 50 cal was from the kit, but with an RB Barrels barrel and Eduard mount and ammo box holder.

The water flimsies are from resin components with a scratchbuilt carrier.

The fuel funnel was scratchbuilt from pewter sheet with all straps from paper and brass 'buckles'.

And that is it for this build - all photos were shot in natural sunlight and I would like to thank my assistant a Mr W Bin for his support during this photo shoot - now onto the next build - hip hop....

Hi Mike,
You'll need to re-shoot the photographs as the back turret hatch has dislodged itself. Very nice finish BTW.

Cheers,
Richard

That is how they carried the rear hatches, so no need to re-shoot anything, research is good for all.

Very nice indeed, what paint on the metal gun as it looks so real.

Very well done indeed. That is a top notch finish.

Ditto John's comment about the 50 cal colour.

Well done again.

That was paint from Humbrol #Natural Steel, I do not have the number as it was decanted from the original tin. The main body was left as painted and the barrel was given a rub with gunmetal pigments.
