Hi guys,
My building has been dry lately, the big stuff seems to have stalled so for MALCOM I thought of doing something simple and small.
Let's see if you can guess what I'll be making with the items that I have listed in my preparation in this shot...

I'm taking a little bit from each box and the funny thing was I searched every box I had for one particular item and only the old Tamiya figure box had it...a radio set. Perhaps there are aftermarket ones but I only remember this one. I've got a title...you'll soon see it.

Cheers,

These are what's been selected from each box...

The main guy with major modifications to his torso and deflatening his back.

The bench...
IMG_20240418_151247.jpgIMG_20240418_151138.jpgIMG_20240418_151414.jpg
The accessories...
IMG_20240418_151100.jpg
Then of course the radio...
IMG_20240418_151211.jpg
And then finally the culprits...all 30 of them...

This time no gory decapitation or Village People images but a few days work on getting the figure to stop right and bulked up in the back...

Lifted the collar and shoulders with putty together with the blouse sides. At this point I hadn't bulked up the back and back of the trousers legs as these were moulded flat. I put a piece of tape on the seat to prevent the putty from sticking. The cutting mat acted as the pavement so the feet would naturally sit lower on the road.

Worked on the helmet as well with add on straps from putty.

Seems similar to a diorama I have planned and provisioned for once the Outlaws have left Richard - the competition is out of my league now so it's back to the drawing board! Looking on with considerable interest!

Your usual trickery, Richard. I have the perfect antidote for pigeons. If I see one I shoot it! ( per advice from our community policeman ).

John, are these pigeons edible like the wild green pigeons?

Anyway I did progress a little...squared off the dimensions of the base and glued the cut pieces.

Did some scoring of the foam board and decided to take photos before I forget

Raised the height of the sidewalk wall which was some left over architectural piece I was given by a friend. Drilled holes to fit toothpicks for a more sturdy bond to the base the top also received toothpicks to anchor the and just realised I didn't have to as the round heads had pins. Couldn't find the round heads so will need to pop over to the Stationeries for a packet.

Roughly positioned the bench and sleeper to check on the composition...lamp post and drainage gratings still to be added.

That's all I did today...more later.

Cheers,
