My completed Galileo Seven diorama. Was quite easy to achieve, and enjoyable. The shuttle is made entirely out of card and foam board and is powered with a 9V battery on the underside, with a switch. The two nacelles are lit, as well as two flashing lights on the parts outside. It's lit internally, and I made some chairs, etc. and used cut out prints to represent three characters inside.

The landscape was painted using a beige wall paint, before being sprinkled with herbs (yes, herbs) to add texture. The uneven surfaces were ripped MDF bits, nailed and glued down, with real tree sprigs. it was dusted over with a green spray paint and additional grey paint to darken some of the edges and add some depth.

Spears were added using some thin kebab sticks, with cut craft sticks surrounded with thread.

Finally, the two external figures, Spock and McCoy were added by covering their bases to match the surface. The actual figures are slightly different in size, so Spock is prominent at the front, while the slightly bigger McCoy is placed sideways at the back.

The link with some stages of construction.
