Trumpeter 1/32: Bf 109 F-4 Trop

Hi mates!!!

Another 109 from my workbench. It's Trumpeter's Bf 109 F-4 Trop in 1:32 scale. A nice kit with many options (detailed Motor etc.) and a big Goof. The box contains not a "Friedrich". It's the same injection molding as in the G-2 kit. So you have to make some changes to get an F. Remove the air intakes on the engine cover, grind the engraving for the filler cap on the fuselage etc.

My model shows the "Yellow 14", flown by Hans-Joachim Marseille, North-Africa, June 1942.

Cheers

Stefan :smiling3:

Excellent build Stefan! Although one day I'd like to see you use something other than that awful railway grass matting!

Yes, I like it loads. The base completes the scene nicely.

Beautiful job. Perfect level of weathering and a great understanding of the scene. I particularly like the different grass textures and levels.
