At last after 10 days waiting Ive finally been able to get some pics taken outside . I wanted to get the model in the sunlight for the pics, so here they are . Its been worth every penny of the £3 it cost me back at Newark in october (see here for build thread http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/wings-of-the-red-star-1-72-tupolev-ant-25.24585/ ) cheers tony:cool:

Fabulous build as always Tony. It amazes me what you do with these odd kits you find in the remnants boxes at the shows!

Amazing. The red is really intense. Great job. And speaking as someone who only normally builds camo' aircraft ( it just seems that way) this is so bright, a lovely refreshing change from the norm. And yes, another one I've never come across before.

From what I've seen of your pictures (and/or builds) I would have to assume that you had a mad, passionate love affair with a really hot Russian aircraft designer and she broke your heart, but some part of her stays on, somehow... ;) I can't account for this fixation of Russian equipment otherwise.

Another great result from the masochist known as yak face !!

Well done Tony, I know that this one took a lot of beating into shape, but it's well worth it.

Cheers

It is a great build no doubt about it, but it has really come to life in the outside light. Super work Tony.

Hi Tony

Just a quick thumbs up for the completed Tupolev Ant ad I seemed to have missed this when it was posted.

Fabulous looking aircraft and a well crafted model of it this is the 'poster boy' build for perseverance! And, as Steve says, it was well worth it.

Top stuff

Paul

Great build, Tony. And also well staged. I think, well-crafted photos is half the battle for online presentation.

It's nice to see a civil aircraft between all the warbirds. ;)

Thanks Stefan! I always try to think about the light and background for my pics , a nice sky behind, and a simple grass base usually gives a good result , cheers tony
