Yerevan, Armenia

We've just come back from a trekking holiday in Armenia, followed by a few days in Moscow. In amongst all the other photogenic objects (which I won't bore you with), I also found some hardware which might interest those on this site. These pictures were taken at the 'Mother Armenia' monument in Yerevan. They all date from Armenia's Soviet days. There's a T34/85, a Katyusha launcher, an unidentified missile, and a MiG something (?) which looks like one of my efforts before I remove the canopy mask! Our guide wasn't very impressed with the stuff, and was more interested in showing us the views and telling us about the monument; I just released my inner 10-year-old. More Armenia and Russia stuff to follow on other threads.
