I've been studying my copy of my Adrian M Balch book 'Testing Colours' and found XV814

Anyone know if the Airfix kit is a good kit despite dating back to 1960?

Miko (this would be my first 1/144 since the Discoverys )

Very basic model - no cabin windows - cockpit windows only, no interior - see thru engines simplified landing gear. The shapes' there, but the bumps & extended tail tail fin need to be added, not to mention the wing fuel pods.....................
You might be better with one of these

Welsh Models also do a number of Comet 4Cs, vacform and resin, civilian and ATC - a matter of how much you want one for your collection!

Thanks for that Dave, I didn't know about the AModel kit, I'll check that out.
