Nearly done with the driver, ive cut the lettering from the decal seatbelts and stuck them on just to add a bit of interest.he just needs a coat of flat clear. Found some old decals ive used to add a bit of colour to the helmet, red and green to match the castrol stripes on the car.1000003904.jpg1000003905.jpg1000003906.jpg

Loving the drivers painting/shading and seat belts.
Coincidence corner: Autoflug, who make seat bets and parachute webbing straps, in South Africa were the next door factory and really good customers of mine and the owners son had a Renault 5 Turbo (road version) as has been made in this GB.

Cheers :smiling2: I had a renault 5 many years ago but it was the 'felt like it was gonna tip over if you went to fast round a corner version' lol

Love the driver Mark!!! I take it he had red booties so he could see what his feet were doing on the pedals. It was kinda dark under the dash, I believe.....It also seems we all are getting lucky with the tire decals too...They look good Sir!!!...

The drivers backside is now firmly planted in the seat. The interior tub is attached to the chassis and ive made a start on some decals which are some of the nicest decals ive come across.
The body has had a coat of white base just waiting for some gloss laquer .1000003921.jpg1000003922.jpg1000003923.jpg1000003924.jpg1000003925.jpg1000003926.jpg

So the paint has had a few coats of gloss clear, sanded with 7000 grit wet and dry and polished with a 12000grit polishing pad.most of decals have been applied, light lenses to be painted and added then the body will go on the chassis before fitting the windows.1000004006.jpg1000004007.jpg1000004009.jpg

That's looking really good. Love the little changes and additions you've done on the driver.

That's coming together very nicely indeed.

Keep up the good work.
