Looks a fine example of a superb aircraft. I had an uncle who flew these. Has some amazing stories. A few ejections from them too.
And the image looks grand too, right size, orientation and clarity. Cracking stuff.

Photography courtesy of my old Ericsson mobile phone cam circa 2009 - ish?

I still have the build thread pics with tiny strips of Tamiya tape for the dorsal spine markings and lots of 'Squadron Green' filler getting the Airfix ventral tank to fit the Matchbox T55 kit!

Miko (whatever happened to 'Squadron Green' ? . . . and Ericsson mobile phones!)

Speaking of Lightnings!!
I've mentioned a few times I like to link my builds into a theme, one such there was 'first and last' I just rediscovered this piccie I took sometime ago that's relevant to the Lightnings thread here. .

WG760, The first prototype of what would become the Lightning, the English Electric P1, the first British aircraft through the sound barrier in level flight in August 1954, now preserved at RAF museum Cosford, an Aeroclub vacform and modified Matchbox F6/2a parts

XP693 The definitive Lightning retained by English Electric/BAC/BAe for it's life time built as an F3 then converted to F3a on to full standard F6, it had a second life in Thunder City before being returned to the UK at RAF Binbrook in 2023, Airfix Lightning F6

Miko (other examples of first and last I completed were Spitfire and Buccaneer, I also have plans for others such as Airfix's Hawker Siddley Kestrel and Harrier GR9 for example)
