The VT1-2 was essentially a shortened MBT-70 chassis (five vs. six roadwheels) with two 120 mm smoothbore guns like those of the Leopard 2. The guns could elevate but not traverse and had automatic loaders. Here’s a three-quarters view of the same vehicle as shown above:
