I don't know if it has been mentioned earlier in this thread, I couldn't see it anywhere but if it has my apologies, but this model was reviewed in Airfix Model World in May 2014. If you haven't seen it I am sure you will find it interesting.
Thanks for that Richard , I've just had a look on the web site but I have to buy the magazine to read the review

Thanks again :smiling3:

Alan to quote a person well known to me reality socks. As for the troops like like me the various camouflage works well with the theme, can't wait to see this completed good work so far.

That's what I was thinking but I'll try it on a troop I'm not going to use , ah I've just thought , I've got some 1/48 Luftwaffe ground crew that might be a better option :smiling3:

I saw a build( I think Airfix mag) and the author complained of gap/ fit issues, yet yours seems pretty straight forward... Tally Ho!

No fit issues with mine just a little bit of filling in the engines , he might have got a bad one I've had that with what are very good kits

Mate if I built that I would take it down the park to show it off and switch it on to fly it and every car alarm in the area would go off !

Alan, the sky(net) is the limit when it comes to futuristic camouflage uniform, you could knock up your own, I don't think you'd get to many criticisms for it, after all, it's the future and we ain't got there yet mate :P .

Good build so far, it is a joy to watch it unfold ;)

Thanks guys I'm pleased you're liking it so far :smiling3: over started the building, as you can see it's balsa and I've started to cut out the ruins, I have noticed that it's a bit thin on the walls so I will add an extra piece on the inside to thicken it View attachment 81252

Cheers Patrick :smiling3:

I didn't have a lot of time to do anything yesterday but I have had a chance to build a little cannon this morning :smiling3:

This was a .30 cal but I added a few bits to alter it and class it as a piece of acquired weaponry from the machines and cut up some corrugated card for some improvised protection View attachment 81297

This will have more detail added to it to look the part :smiling3:
I have also done a bit more on the building View attachment 81300
