Looking good Andy. Cockpit is nice. Glad it fits between the fuselage halves.
Ha!! Yes, you have a point there Andrew... and I have a couple other purchases to show later this week.Really.... Knowing what I know I might have to disagree!!!
Thanks Jim, I'm afraid I don't go into the intimate details of the crew/cockpit as some guys do,I get a bit cheesed off going overboard only to see it completely disappear once closed up. ... But I do my bestLooking good Andy. Cockpit is nice. Glad it fits between the fuselage halves.
Cheers Mick, it's enjoyable, However, I'm not sure about the lack of crew figures supplied... seems a bit mean to me?!That’s progressing very nicely
I'm confused now i thought after the war he became chef at the crossroads motelNice work Andy.
The last time I saw the little guy in the above shot from 633 Squadron, he was hanging from a lump of stalag wire in the 'Great Escape'!
He's been corrupted! Not sure if you've seen it but he's been corrupted so much that he's even got a wingy GB in the summer!!!Nice recovery with the angle grinder Mr Smiff….just the right tool for the Job
Still quite surprised to see you sticking wingy thingies together but suitably impressed with your progress
I'm not sure what gave you that idea!... Don't worry,as it turns out, I'm not very good at them anyway!!...
Thanks for the encouragement Pete .... But I'm WAY out of my depth on this one to be honest mate!I'm not sure what gave you that idea!
Pete
Cheers Geoff,Good to see your beating it into shape Mr Smiff
I think some of the newer Airfix models are almost too well designed for the production and materials used. It should all go together well but one or two parts moulded slightly off and it throws everything out of kilter
Geoff.
Scottie..Andy,
