So here' a little update on the StuG III

I changed the sprocket wheels and added the 20 bolts that were missing to make it look like the StuG seen in the Arnhem picture.

And I cleaned the 240 track links:confused::confused::confused:View attachment 89237

After that I started to put some clamps together for the StuG III.

and this is the result of 4 Liters of coffee and lots of nerve relaxing food like chocolate and nuts, and sending my wife out of the man cave more then once:rolleyes:.

I finished the first 3 of them

Hi all, anybody there???

It has been a long time since anybody replied to my postings.

I am now wondering if a SSIG is too long to keep people interested. :sad:

But nevertheless, I started it so I will finish I (I hope:rolleyes:smiling3:

Here's the last update for today.

My Para's got some Camo paining and for tomorrow are shadows and highlights, but as always here are the pics.

Im absolutely loving this thread ( I'm a full on Arnhem aficionado) . I don't post much but have been lurking around for a long time. Keep up the great work. The only comment I'd make is the scrim scarf looks too pale.

The scrim scarves are worn around the paras necks. The colour is a darker shade of green- not sure how to describe it. Bottle green perhaps?
