Hey guys.

Haven't posted on this build for a while, mainly because I haven't done anything for a while. :smiling3:

Got everything gloss coated yesterday, so cracked on with the decals tonight. Only 10 for the SPG, but another 24 for the ammo and the propellant cases.

Quick tip for anyone building this kit, the ammo decal comes as one piece, but because of the odd shape they don't conform very well. I cut off the lower part of the decal and applied it separately, they go down perfectly like this.

Never realized they had so much printing. Top job Bob! I'll have to rethink some of my finishes. PaulE

Hey guys, small update. :smiling3:

I've started the weathering with a pin wash. I'm not going for a completely battered look as I think these vehicles would of been fairly well maintained, and back from the front line, so I'm trying to keep it subtle and grimy.

That's some beautifully done paint work, and some neat decals on those shells. I did some mini art ammo boxes some time ago, like those very small, but so satisfying when you sit back and look .
John.
