Well my first car was an Austin A40 and it had a switch very similar to those( it only had 1 mind you) if you turned it right the right indicator arm would flip out a nd flash, turn it left and the same would happen on the left, had me in stitches every time lovely little car, fond memories then whilst minding its own business parked at the bottom of our then road one snowy morning it bravely saved someone's house. A lorry lost traction in the snow and my poor A40 must have leapt in front of the house to save it from the runaway lorry (or maybe I just parked it in the wrong place) anyway the bloke who owned the house also had a vauxhall victor 101 and said he was so greatfull my car was there he gave me his (was a bit ratty but hey my A40 was no picture either.
