Nice choice yet again Francesco. The F-16 is a great subject, even though the basic design dates back over 40 years ago (it first flew in 1974) it still looks the part today. The CJ version has anti-radar systems and usually carries appropriate anti-radar armament (HARM etc). Interesting that the missiles are missing on the box top photo.

For all things F-16 I have this bookmarked: http://www.f-16.net/

Many thanks for your feeds backs mates.

So let's start with a picture of the intake which demonstrates the quality of the kit:

It looks no puttying or sanding will be needed, which is good.

The front landing gear bay:

Next will be the main landing gear bay.

For both I'm still looking for pictures for better understanding some details.

Painting of the cockpit in progress:

Excellent details nicely moulded, they didn't miss a switch according to my check.

However, while the quality of the kit is surely above average, the seat is too much simple and will need some additional work

Slowly moving along here, getting a bit confused about what to do first. Front landing gear bay is almost complete, the main will have to be detailed after partial assembly so I started to detail the cockpit walls as I will have to close the fuselage first.

I also closed the main air intake, it was a pain to paint and I had to do it three times: still not convinced about the result.

BTW, here's the updated control stick:

Good progress work Francesco, as Ian suggests, another masterpiece in the making.
