Have blocked in the tracks, exhausts and few other bits, at this point I tried out one of the new ammo acrylic filters(nothing ventured nothing gained)had bright green and a olive drab opting with the olive just slapped it on

Bit of a dilemma now beginning to look a bit to good for a white wash should have just given it a single coat of green and had done ,will give it a coat of varnish in a bit then decals tomorrow and decide from there. D

At this point I was very undecided even the horrible decals had gone down a treat (decals being my own personal nemesis)but sprayed on a coat of chipping fluid and left it to dry. This was followed up with a coat of mr hobby aqueous matt white .

Airbrush cleaned out panic began to set in soaked it with clean water started to try and chip F all happened but after a couple more brush coats of water it began to happen ,great learning curve realise now should have gone with a much lighter coat of white ,and repeated the prosses still fore armed for the next time.

Still a long way to go yet will get a coat of matt varnish on it later today then can begin to weather and sort it out to my liking ,talking of liking do i like it notthat much (at the moment)but have learnt a lot and will be much better armed next time ,as I said still a long way to go will up date as it progresses. Dave.

A splendiferous bit of work there Dave!

Bodacious piece of work there David !
Thanks lads for looking in ,have got a good coat of varnish over it so will begin to tone it all down and pick out the details ,not my fave thing to do but I suppose some mud on the running gear is the order of the day. Thanks again for your kind words and encouragement. Dave.

Coming together really well David. Great work my friend
Thanks Steve ,it helps I'm sure that so far I've really enjoyed what I'm doing ,forgot how good it is to step outside of one's own norm ,I dont belive you have a comfort zone in this hobby as there's always something that doesn't play by the rules.
I know I keep banging on about them but these little Zvesda snap fit kit are amongst the best 72nd stuff out there I picked this kit up for under nine pounds ,this one is straight out of the box nothing added nothing taken away.
Once again Steve thanks for your help and encouragement. Dave

Excellent looking model david , the chipping and general muckying up is superb. To look at it you would never tell the difference from a kit thats got hundreds of separate parts , fantastic . These zvezda snap fits put most other makers normal kits to shame , cheers tony

Another lovely job there Dave, beats me how you guys do so much with such small models, too tiny for my eyes.

Andy.
