Morn all,

Me again with a load of pics I took at this wonderful museum in the Netherlands on 3 July. It was a side trip on Sunday after 2 days of the World Model Expo. It's located about 54 kms from Eindhoven and well worth visiting if you have a chance.

Like my posting of the show pics, I please ask that you wait until after I post them all to comment as I'm old and easily confused. Thanks and it should take about 6 hours to post them all. Here we go.............

Now if you look above, you will see a bridge with bike riders on it. As the museum is in a huge park, one can ride into this hall through sliding glass doors, have a look and then ride back out into the park from either direction. Cool idea and it's free too......

All the salvaged parts were meticulously build into this huge display..........
As you exit the hall you have these large panels telling the WWII story,

All I can say is WOW and a big thank you. I've watched the photos being loaded all day. The best thing to do in all this very hot weather.
What a fantastic place. You could spend days there and still not see it all. A huge variety of exhibits.
Thanks again Allen

Would you please stop using that word? :smiling3: None of the places you usually use it in relation to, are actually in Holland :smiling3:

The museum seems to have changed a lot, though, since I was last there, which was something like ten years ago. I came across a video by Mig the other day when he happened to be there too, and he commented that nearly all the post-war stuff is gone, which I hadn’t expected. Good to see that at least the Dutch equipment is still there.

If I had a book with a subject as thrilling as this, I’d probably also hide a radio in it ;)
