Yesss it's Blowpipe.
Scored 2 hits from over a hundred launches during the Falklands war.
Compare with Stinger. One launch one hit.Fired by a D Squadron SAS trooper who'd never used one before.

I've read conflicting stories...
Blowpipe
Starstreak
Javelin
Because the photo seems to be from the Falklands, I figured it was a Blowpipe. Starstreak has a bigger sight/control module/whatever; not sure about Javelin.

Not surprising with manual guidance vs. all-aspect heat-seeking.

Name the thing:

Hang on a minute.
what's a Redstone Mailer?
I forgot to give the explanation when I said Lee was right, didn’t I?

The MIM-46 Mauler was an American short-range anti-aircraft missile system that was too advanced for the 1960s when it was developed, though it did get as far as working prototypes of the missile. The launch vehicle (of which I posted a picture) was based on the M113, and prototypes of that were also built before the whole thing was cancelled:

Oh yeah :smiling3: I was kind of wondering why you hadn’t posted anything yet, but I had apparently forgotten you had …

It's a GWS-20 Seacat (left) and a GWS-25 Conventionally Launched Sea Wolf (right) — but you’ve made it rather easy because the filename says so :smiling3:

Great, I had thought of a good one (hopefully) that I was going to post next time it was my go, but now I don’t remember what it was … So let’s just go with this instead:

It was a contemporary of the ME 110.....lots were made...
Mind you, putting up a 110 and just wanting the answer Messerschmitt would be seen as a bit easy....so I’m surprised you didn’t want the model number

OK then, what’s this?

Sorry, I wasn’t clear what I meant: I wasn’t after the exact model of Potez 63 in the picture, just Potez 63 followed by any digit would have been okay by me :smiling3: (My impression of French prewar aircraft model numbers is that the basic type number doesn’t include the last digit — that is, that the basic type in this case is the Potez 63, and that its variants are the 630, 631, etc.)

OK then, what’s this?

Some or another Vicker 6-ton tank variant, but I can’t place it just yet.
