ya know, a group build - colonial viper, any colour scheme and any customisation so long as the base kit is the above and it is not finished to OOTB schemes. Any ideas as yet or are you keeping that a surprise for now?

I am planning on Desert Pink........... Maybe digital Camo .......... Or a Straight Line Camo using three shades of the Desert Pink.............. I'm a long way off that yet.

Cockpit assembly is very nearly done ............. Paint is finished, more decals than you can "shake a stick at" and most of them the size of a microbe .......... Just a few details to add..........

............ and the pilot is done ......... "Group Captain Screwitt-Upalott" DSO & BAR ........... Not sure if the colours represent too well. Coveralls in Nato Green, Jacket / Lifejacket Field Grey, Boots Nato Black, Gloves Khaki, Visor Metallic Blue over Black ..........

............ I'm on the lookout for a NATO Pilot ...... But until then this guy that came with the kit will do the job.

It's the control stick ............... When he's seated it rests on the right hand console.

Yes it does ............... I'm proper pleased with the result on this. There is a lot of detail in there. Mostly it's decals loads of the itty bitty tiny little things ...... The only bit I added is the "Pull Handle" or whatever it's called for the ejector seat .......... I figured if we are putting the little fellas in harms way, then he should be giver a fighting chance...................

Now I've finished on the Cockpit ............ Onto the forward fuselage. There are two (one each side) sort of openings which I'm not happy about, something to do with sensors ???. So they have to go. I've filled them and when the filler has dried off I'll sand and shape them .......... The three small vents can stay .......

Fuselage halve are filled and sanded ............. A couple of tiny blemishes that need addressing, they can wait until it's in primer and I might have to scribe a little on the forward panel line, not sure yet .... But I'm happy with the result.

The wing halves and tail are glued up (special thanks to 'er indoors for the loan of her clothes pegs, although she knows nothing about it) . The wing halves took a lot of cleaning up to get them to fit but I got there ...... Now they are done, they aint that big so I might need to re-think the Ordnance layout ......
