You don't need a note Tony...
... The usual cheque will suffice!! ;)
It really is quite lovely I think....and when put next to my Mossie it certainly does look VERY "Brutish".!!

Definitely a Beaufighter.

Particularly loving the round things on legs!! Still getting to grips with wingy things as I am, I believe they're called the undercarriage.....despite my wife thinking my Mossie ones were wheelbarrows......and she was being serious!!!!:astonished:

Looking forward to the rest of it Andy!

Well, the last few sessions that I've managed to get in have mostly been taken up by masking,it's taken  AGES !!
However, it's progressed......

Underside there.....
IMG20221230191418.jpg
.... All completely masked off....
IMG20221230225215.jpg
... and resplendent in Dark Brown,(decided to go for the "early war" scheme).
Rach is working until 8 tonight, so this afternoon it's going to be masking camo pattern and a splosh of "Purest Green" ..... with a few Ziders :smiling3:
Until then, it's goodbye from me. ;)

Now look guys, we all know who's doing all the work here. It's Cohan and he's doing a helluva job with all that masking and paint. As for Mr. Smiff, he's probably asleep in the chair after all that 'Zider' he's been nipping. The Beau is looking good though Cohan!!! Now go bite him on the finger to wake his butt up.........

Andy, you've definitely been bitten by the wingy bug or Cohen has been well trained, either way it looks good.
I find the Beaufighter looks good on the ground and really brutish. The designers were definitely concentrating on the twin engines and wings and just plonked the pilot somewhere in the middle and forgot the rest of the front of the plane...similar with the Whirlwind. You can surprise attack from both sides... no need for side armour protection. :smiling2:

Cheers,
Wabble

Well Andy, I'm impressed. Your wingy thing is looking a top job and you've made pretty speedy progress as well. Great job with the masking. Camo has come out neatly.
