I've finally got around to taking some pickies of the finished aircraft.

Thanks to Dave (gern) for suggesting and running this G.B. and for all his invaluable help with this model and also thanks to you nice folks for all your encouraging posts along the way. All much appreciated.

Here's a few shots and the rest will be over in 'Completed' asap...

All brush painted using Vallejo Air acrylics. 'USAF' and 'RESCUE' free hand painted.

I've hardly weathered the model, just a bit of a wash here and there.....

I didn't realise just how big and chunky this aircraft is until I put it alongside my same scale,1/72 Lancaster.......
