Tim,

It was attacked by an FW190 - the subsequent explosion threw a piece of the boiler into the air.
The aircraft struck the debris and was severely damaged and plummeted to the ground. Pilot killed.

I so want to say Steve is correct, but alas and alack, it’s Paul for the prize. For those that are interested it’s a LBSC Railway E3 tank engine, by this time in Southern rail ownership...the only loco to shot down a plane....unless of course you know better :nerd:
