Sorry lads...not the bt3f...old-eagle-eyes-Day has figured it out despite my best efforts to pick an obscure angle of the command version that makes it look very "russian" and a user to whom the Chinese have never officially supplied this family of vehicles....pictured during the recent unrest in Harare after Mugabes 'resignation'...well done Peter..it is addictive isn,t it???
A better view......

Yep, that was a tricky one, though I was aware that China is investing heavily in the African continent.

OK, who when and where?

That glass over it makes it really hard to see, especially with the reflection of those tube lights :smiling3: It looks like a V8 engine to me, given the two sets of four electrical leads, but that’s about as far as I get.

I would say the twin V8 engines of an M5 light tank or derivative, but the engine deck seems wrong for that, with the side slopes and the stowage bins in the background.

It’s the engines of an M24 Chaffee, with British modifications (the stowage boxes I mentioned). After posting the above, I remembered it also had twin V8s …

I kind of thought that would be obvious: What vehicle is this?

Though if you want a harder question, then you may want to supply the labels that go with the arrows, and that I’ve removed because they give the game away somewhat :smiling3:
