I have just done some Googling of this unit and I am disappointed to see that the grey used for the Eagle on the fin and other markings is significantly darker than the camo grey, FS36176. Oh well, there is just nothing I can do about the colour on the decal. Pic below.

HI Barry well in my opinion you cant get every thing 100% right as its a model as like on my tiger ive had to use moddelers licence. An on the ships an the planes they change things around but for me your model has turned out very nice an the main thing is you enjoyed the build an the paintin dint you ? an yes I think the eagle decal should have been a darker colour but as you say you cant do nothin to the decal

Yes Chris. While the kit does not have the sheer engineering genius of the Tammy F16 it is the most enjoyable of the modern jet builds so far....

I have not yet decided on a scheme but I have a fairly high viz one in mind.

This F15 is done and I will post some completed pics in the appropriate section. There is some drying of canopy glue to do before it is ready to take pics

for now a few progress shots though

masking removed from the metal areas and these need weathering with these plus some Uschi metal powders.

The underside now looks like this

I am pleased with the result.

a bit more metal powder work needed on the top though
