Well done Jon! Built in Russia for the East German Navy, on the reunification of Germany the USA bought her to evaluate the Soviet naval capability. Now on display at Battleship Cove in Massachusetts. Inside are some interesting reports of the US evaluation - the Dept of Defense claiming it used out of date technology and would be useless in combat, the US Navy asking why they couldn't have things this simple and robust!She ended up as the USNS Hiddensee.
