A parsec is 3.26 light years - the distance light travels in a year.

In miles, that's roughly 3.26 x 6 000 000 000 000 = 19 560 000 000 000 miles

You don't want to be going that far to pick up that paint colour you forgot!
THANKS DAVE NOW i know how far i want Tiger to sail lol :rolling: :smiling2::smiling2::smiling2:

You probably meant to say 3.086 × 10¹⁶ metres, which is in a rather different league than 3.086 × 1016 metres :smiling3: The latter is 3.135 km, the former is 30,860,000,000,000,000 km …
WHATS THAT IN MILES THEN Jakko ? lol

A useless measurement :tongue-out:

True, but I suspect the vast majority of people doesn’t know what the e means there at all … And pasting text that had the exponent marked up as superscript instead of using actual superscript numerals loses that information too, resulting in things like 1016 and probably causing more confusion :smiling3:

Great progress Brian, on what looks to be a really nice kit. With the lighting this promises to be a stunning looking model
Cheers
