Ive seen a build review of the eastern express kit steve and its different to mine. That one has a one piece lower wing and no interior , mine has 2 piece wings and a basic cockpit. Its definitely an eastern bloc kit , you can just tell, I once did a Polikarpov i -16 that was another bargain bucket mystery ,and that was a lurid shade of green so i think the soviet kitmakers had a thing about bright colours!! I would have paid £17.99 for a kit of this , as its something I was after, although i wouldnt have been very chuffed when i saw what was in the box!!! cheers tony\ said:Good stuff Tony. I gather that kit was the one and only offering of a firm called IKAR......whoever they were. I've also seen a boxing by Eastern Express....whoever they were going for, wait for it, £17.99 Cheers
Steve
I'm actually running out of filler dave, do you think humbrol would deliver me a cubic metre or two ?!\ said:Tony, I thought I'd help you out a little with all the sanding you'll need to do on this. Here's the number for the B&Q on Queen's Rd Sheffield - it'll save you a journey if they haven't got any sanding discs!
